Don't forget about Nolan!
I don't get to blog about Nolan very often, but he turned 2 1/2 in October. It is a huge difference from just 2 years old! He is speaking in full sentences! He understand so much more than he did before. I never realized how big the difference was between 2 and 2 1/2 until Nolan reached this age! He still doesn't like sharing, :(, but I really don't expect him to get that for a while! He can count to 10 and knows a, b, and c. I'm so proud of my first born! :)
O' Christmas Tree
This passed weekend we went to Jackson, Tennessee to cut down our first real Christmas tree. Ricky, a manager that works under Ben, works at the farm for his parents and showed us around the place. They had 2 mules that pulled the wagon and hot cider and hot chocolate. They also make wreaths there. It was perfect weather, not too hot, not too cold. Nolan even got to hold the saw and pretend he was cutting a tree. Overall it was a wonderful day, except for the drive there and back! :)
MOVED!!!
Yay, we are finally in a house again! It feels amazing to be out of that 2 room apartment and into a house (even if we are sharing a house for 4 weeks)! The kids and Schmitty both love having extra room, as do Ben and I! We even cut down a real tree for the first time and had it up the day we moved in. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will get all of our boxes unpacked, but for now, we're just happy to be sort of settled!

Kenley is 7 months!
Okay, so I keep getting further and further behind, but at least I didn't forget, right?! Kenley is actually about 7 1/2 months old now! Crazy how fast time is flying! She is trying to crawl already! She is a busy little bee, trying to get into literally everything. If it's not within reach, she will try to make within her reach! She has 2 little teeth that came in on the bottom, now I think 2 more are trying to peak thru on the top! So much has changed in just one month!

Kenley is 6 months!
My little Kenley is not so little anymore! At 6 months old she is weighing in at 18 pounds, 3 ounces. She is 26 1/4 inches tall! I can't believe how fast the time is going! I am so thankful to be able to be a stay at home mom for now! Kenley can now sit all by herself! She is teething horribly, and I mean horribly. I cannot wait for these teeth to come in, I'm sure she can't either! Nolan is still a great big brother to her! He hugs and kisses her all day long and tells her he loves her! I can't wait until she can say it back to him (and me!).
Jaclyn got married!!!!
Okay, so I'm a little behind, but what's new! On October 7th Ben and I drove over to North Carolina for Jaclyn's wedding! It was very strange to be without kids!!! The first 10 minutes of the drive were just trying to wrap our heads around how peaceful it was! It was a long drive, but we were so glad to get to Hickory. We pretty much spent the night drinking with a lot of Jaclyn and Zach's friends and family, and it was a blast!!! Friday was busy getting ready for the wedding! I ran around with Jaclyn doing errands while the boys probably sat at home and did nothing. We drove up to the mountains in the afternoon, and it was a gorgeous drive! Rehearsal was fun, and the food was delicious! I probably drank a little more than I should have, but hey, I was on vacation!!! Saturday, wedding day, went by way too fast! Jaclyn looked like a magazine bride, really! I was so honored to be her maid of honor, although I never want to give a MOH speech again! Thanks to everyone for telling me that I was shaking so bad that they could see the paper I was holding shaking! Awesome. LOL! It really was an honor to be sitting next to Jaclyn that whole day and I am so proud of her and all that she has accomplished! I can't wait to see her again in a week!!!

Kenley is 5 months!
Kenley is now 5 months old! Where is the time going?! She can now roll over. She is working on sitting on her own, but hasn't quite figured that out yet. She has been sleeping thru the night for a month now, hallelujah! She is becoming quite the picky eater. She does NOT like peas! But she loves carrots, sweet potatoes, and prunes! So far we're off to a good start with solids! She is starting to get a little bit of hair, yay! But it still just looks like peach fuzz. She is starting to decide which toys are her favorites also. She is getting quite the personality at such a young age!
Germantown Festival
Well, I'm a bit behind, I haven't really had time to blog. But last weekend we went to the Germantown Festival. Ben did not go willingly, but he went! Nolan had so much fun. He got to go on his first "plane" ride! It was a bit hot, and crowded, so we didn't stay too long. I got Kenley some more hair things, even though she still has no hair! It was fun to get out and do something instead of stay at home as usual!

Kenley is 4 months!
Okay, so I'm a little behind! Kenley turned 4 months on the 16th! She is now 15 pounds 3.2 ounces and 25 inches long! Her head is 16 inches already! She is a growing girl, still eating all the time! She has rolled over once, which no one saw! But she is trying to do it again, I have faith she will soon! I have started feeding her solids, but it's not going so well. She still is spitting it back out at me and manages to make a mess every time! She still hates her bumbo and her jumperoo! I don't know why, cause she loves to sit by herself on the couch! Oh well, as long as I can try and keep her happy. Here's some pictures so you can see her cute little face!

Nolan's 2nd ER trip 8-9-10
Well, Nolan had to go to urgent care last night. He fell and hit his head on the bed frame. He hit it on his right eye, in the eye brow line. The cut wasn't too terribly bad, but since it was on his face we wanted to get it looked at! The cut was too close to the eye for glue, so they just cleaned it and put a Sponge Bob band-aid on it. Ben wouldn't let me go with him, but said that Nolan did great! The top picture is from last night, right after it happened. The others are from today, it looks much better! It's not black and blue yet, hopefully it won't bruise! I didn't get a picture with the band-aid on, unfortunately! We got a trooper though!

Nolan is potty trained!
I'm so happy to announce that Nolan is finally potty trained! It's true, the third time is a charm! He did this the same way he has done everything else so far, on his own time, when he was totally ready, and then did it like he'd been doing it for months! I know you all care so much about his toilet habits! :)

Kenley is 3 months!
Kenley is now 3 months old! The time is flying by! Nolan is still doing great with her! She is approximately 13 pounds, she was weighed over the 4th with her clothes on at 13.3 pounds. She is starting to get her own personality and is alert all the time! She's not quite sleeping through the night, but I do usually get to sleep until about 3 am! She is almost out of her 3 month clothes already though, she just started wearing them! Now if I could just get her to learn how to feed herself! :)

*4th of July*
As most of you know, we went to Goshen for the week of the 4th. Kenley finally got to meet some of her cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends that she hadn't been able to meet. Nolan loved it as he got to do and see a lot of his loves! He got to go to the police station and see some police cars and the police kanine. He got to ride in Cory's monster truck with Christi and the other kids! He went to the beach for the first time, and also rode in boat for the first time! He has been saying everyone's names since we've been home! It was also nice for Ben and I cause we got some babysitters and got to go out!

Father's Day 6*20*10
Ben had a pretty good Father's Day if you ask me! Nolan and Kenley got him a picture frame for his desk at work. They also got him a pair of basketball shorts, we all know that is all Ben wears! They obviously all took a nap together! I don't think Ben had to change 1 diaper that day... I haven't figured out yet if this is different from any other day yet. LOL, Just kidding! But Ben did get a day of rest from taking care of children!
Kenley is 2 months!
Hello!
Hello Everyone! I decided to start a blog for our family since we live so far away from everyone. Hopefully I can update it often with the things we do! Make sure you check back often as Nolan and Kenley are growing fast!
